This book is precisely the EXACT concoction of what I LOVE in contemporary Romance.
It’s so refreshing to see a Black Female lead have the opportunity to explore herself in a safe setting. Harlow goes to Bali to become a Yoga instructor, she also relocates to Seattle from Texas, meanwhile her friends and family simply support and encourage her during all of this.
When she gets to town she meets the broody Acyn, a tattoo artist that has a stick up his a$$. He gets a little rude with her and she equally spars back with sarcasm and wit. This is how the first couple encounters go.

This is how I imagine really falling in love is... Just like that. Nice and slow with a strong friendship foundation, no rush, just natural.
I loved this book. Got more from it than I thought I would. I'm glad to finally read a romance that doesn't end as the couple starts to figure their stuff out.
Loved this romance. I’m not even a romance type girl but this book was chef’s kiss. I just loved their relationship and how it grew.
