Natalie was portrayed as somewhat haphazard and impulsive at times. She didn't feel like the police were doing enough, so she took matters into her own hands. She put herself in a very dangerous situation when she took the job at Geoffrey's estate, and she did a few things that could have ended very badly for her. She was a loyal friend, however, and I appreciated her devotion to Cara and her bravery. I really liked a lot of the side characters in the book, too; there were quite a few. I won't go into the side stories, but there is one that lends itself to a different genre of sequel that I would LOVE to see happen! Hint: it's at the end of the book.
I rated this book 4.5 stars. I enjoyed the author's writing style and the book's fast pace, but it got a tad chaotic at times. The book has a very popcorn-thriller type feel to it. It's full of action, it's a fast read, and it's just a lot of fun! I read it in less than 24 hours. If you enjoy Freida McFadden, John Marrs, Alice Feeney, or Mary Kubica, then you will probably love this one! He had all the charm. But was he really a monster?
All Eyes on Him had me completely hooked from the first page. This fast-paced psychological thriller is an absolute page-turner — the suspense, twists, and tension kept me guessing and second-guessing every character. Just when I thought I knew where things were going, Iliana Xander flipped everything on its head, and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.
The writing is sharp, atmospheric, and full of tension — exactly the kind of thriller that keeps you reading late into the night. I was invested in every revelation, every clue, and every dark corner of the “Man of the Year”’s life.
This was my first book by Xander, and it definitely won’t be my last. I can’t wait to see what she writes next.
If you want a psychological thriller filled with dark secrets, unreliable characters, and non-stop suspense, then this one is a must-read.
