Agnes and the Hitman

Humorous murder disaster. That sums up this somewhat predictable but funny book. Agnes or better known as Cranky Agnes is a food columnist writer, who has to put on a special wedding at her place when someone shows up and tries to kill her. The killer's attempt is thwarted by Agnes and her frying pan, and after that disaster ensues which involves, Shane the hitman, several attempts at wedding sabotages, a furious grandma of the bride, and members of the mob.

This book isn't considered top-notch writing, the plot ending was obvious about halfway through, and then add in the "instant-lust, and "angry sex" between Shane and Agnes but overall, hilarity ensued and it was a fast and fun read.
