Act Your Age, Eve Brown: A Novel (The Brown Sisters, 3)

I enjoy this author and like the concept of the universe she has created with her characters but I found this book to be less empowering and more of a romance salacious chase. Eve Brown is forced to an independent life after being cut off from her trust fund and comes around an opportunity to be a chef at a bed and breakfast. Romance teases and ensures.

Well, this was an absolutely delightful trilogy and ended with my favourite read (and couple!) of the bunch.

This is a FUN read - the witty/sharp dialogue, entertaining inner monologues, unusual meet-cute with enemies-to-lovers trope...it was a fast and racy read (disclaimer: includes lots of sexual tension and some graphic racy scenes as well...) but I appreciated the diverse set of characters, representation, honesty, vulnerability and importance of being earnest and authentic with oneself

I loved the development of the story, so well paced, so much comedy. I highly recommend to all!
So sad the Brown sisters are over but looking forward to the expansion of the rest of the supporting characters.
