A Snake Falls to Earth strikes an enjoyable balance between Native American Fantasy and 80s-style coming of age adventure. Sort of like stand by me, but with animal people and natural disasters. I really enjoyed the book, though it was hard to get through at some points. The plot can be slow moving - I suffer from ADHD so, sometimes if I'm not captivated /all the time/, it can be a bit tricky for me to get through.
