This is a pager tuner! I like the protagonist, although she can be frightfully oblivious sometimes. I love a good fantasy book and this one went down a lot smoother than most. I am eager to see what happens in book two, but this one ended with enough closure that I’m not scrambling to jump into the next one. It does hit faintly of a retelling of beauty and the beast, but not so much that it feel like a rip off, and even so, there is nothing wrong...read more
