UCGIS Humans and Geospatial AI Book Club

The Humans and Geospatial AI Book club will focus on the relationship between humans and AI. Topics include ethics (implications of AI), spatial cognition (human versus machine “understanding”), and creativity. The emphasis of the reading group is to explore human experience of AI and is not concerned with specific algorithm development, nor methods of consumption of human data by computational machines. We would like to gauge interest in this book club through a survey of possible days and times that might best fit those people who are interested in participating.
