Sips and Stories Lake Forest

A women-only book club for all ages that meets in person on the first Friday of each month at a private home in Lake Forest. If you’re looking for friendship, genuine connection and conversation, all while you sip wine, this club is for you! There will be wine and simple appetizers, but please feel free to bring your favorite drink (mocktails, coffee or anything in between) for a cozy evening, genuine conversation, real book discussion, good laughs, and the kind of connections that happen when women gather around great stories. We read all genres and vote together on the next month’s pick. Because the club meets in a private home, your profile must include a current photo for safety purposes. The address will be sent the day before to all who RSVP yes. Conversation Guidelines: We keep the focus on the book and the evening. Unrelated political discussions are discouraged to maintain a warm, inclusive space for everyone. Plus, book clubs are meant to escape all the noise!
