Silent Book Club At Terrace Books

Often with traditional book clubs there's a scramble to finish the selected book, and the pressure to have something smart to say about a book you may not have even liked. Not with Silent Book Club! It's a book club where you can just enjoy the books YOU want to read, in the company of like-minded friends, and NO HOMEWORK!

Whether you're an introvert who isn't interested in the dynamics of a regular book club, or you're just so busy that you can't seem to make time to sit and read, our Silent Book Club at Terrace Books is for you. Think of it as an exercise in SELF CARE!

We have:

~ Reading on the Terrace, with available seating, but feel free to bring your own camp chair and whatever else makes you cozy while reading!

~ READING COMPANIONS, who all appreciate the joy of silent reading, with no pressure to socialize.

~ DEDICATED READING time!

~ Bring your current read, or purchase one in-store (15% off for book club members!) during the first 30 minutes of book club time.

~ Get lost in your book, relax, chat with others before and after club only if you choose, and enjoy an hour and a half where you have no expectations but to focus on you and your needs.

~ Light SNACKS and WARM BEVERAGES provided, and feel free to BYOB.

~ Jammies/comfy clothes are encouraged!

We meet the second and fourth THURSDAY NIGHTS from 5:30-7:30.

Tell them you have a BOOK CLUB MEETING, because you do!
