Reading + Solidarity Circle

This book club/solidarity circle was started as a way to bring together people that I know in my personal life who were feeling particularly bad for obvious reasons. (If the reason isn't obvious to you, I dunno what to tell you!) I know I will definitely be bringing something to keep my hands busy, so I wouldn't mind if it turned into a craft/mending circle as well. Ideally, we'll be reading books that encourage us to think about different ways of coexisting, what we can do as individuals and as a community to influence our environments, and imagining what the future can look like and our role in that. I think this leaves the possibility for many genres to be on the table. As of right now, we're meeting monthly to discuss the readings, with the option to meet up more often virtually.
