About Read The Room
Read the Room is a laid-back, co-ed book club started by friends Lauren + Soli for people who like good books and an excuse to get together.
We meet once a month on the last Thursday of the month from 6:30–8:30 PM in Sorrento Mesa. For special months, we may switch up the day or location. Check the Meetings tab each month for the most up-to-date time and location
We pick a different genre each month, vote on what we’re reading, then meet up for drinks, food, and a very casual discussion. We read a little bit of everything - romance, thrillers, fantasy, historical fiction, drama, and more. Add any book recs you have to the group on the app!! We want to see what everyone’s into 📚
No book reports and no pressure to have a deep literary analysis prepared. Just read the book (or at least try 😂), show up, and hang out!!
