Pen A Theme

Pen A Theme meets every other Wednesday, from 7:00 - 8:30pm (Eastern).

Book selections for Pen A Theme Book Club might include genres across fiction, non-fiction, fantasy, science fiction, romance, and more, with the common thread being the avoidance of narratives centered solely on trauma.

Instead, the focus would be on showcasing a breadth of narratives that inspire, entertain, and provoke thought, all while celebrating the diversity of human experience. This approach encourages a more inclusive and enriching reading habit among its members, helping to break down stereotypes and broaden perspectives on what BIPOC literature can offer.
