Pages & Places

Pages & Places is a friendship and social group with a bookish heart—a place for women who want to meet new people, try new things, and build genuine friendships along the way.

Yes, there will be books. 📚 We’ll meet at tea rooms, coffee shops, cafés, and other fun spots to talk about what we’re reading.

But the books are only the beginning.

We’ll also **go places and do things together**—festivals, movies, theater, museums, restaurants, seasonal events, day trips, and whatever other adventures sound fun. Members are encouraged to suggest books, places, and outings too. See something and think, *“That looks fun, but I need people to go with….let us know!!!

There’s no expectation that anyone attend everything. Life is busy, and this group should be something you look forward to—not another obligation on your calendar.

But there is something I hope Pages & Places becomes:

A place where people actually show up for one another.

Because real friendships aren't built simply by joining the same Facebook group. They're built over cups of coffee and conversations that last longer than expected. They're built while wandering through an orchard, laughing over a book we hated, trying a new restaurant, seeing a show, taking a day trip, or doing something we've never done before.

They're built in all those little shared moments when people stop being *people from the group* and slowly become **our people.** 

So come when you can. Try something new. Suggest an adventure. And please don't worry about walking into your first event alone…….That's kind of the point….You may walk in not knowing anyone and walk out having met someone you can't wait to see again.
