About Lost in Translation

Lost in Translation (LiT) is a book club that meets on a monthly basis to discuss fiction works by emerging authors from abroad. LiT is an ideal fit for readers looking to learn more about other cultures and experiences through literature. Topics and genre vary. The book for November is The Unworthy by Augustina Bazterrica, an Argentine author also known for Tender is the Flesh.

Some books that are under consideration for future reads are:
- Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead, by Olga Tokarczuk
- The Employees: A Workplace Novel of the 22nd Century by Olga Rain
- My Sister, the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite
- Brotherless Night by V.V. Ganeshananthan
- The Queue by Basma Abdel Aziz
- Out of the Earth by Auður Ava Ólafsdóttir
- The Three-Body Problem by Liu Cixin
- Hurricane Season by Fernanda Melchor

Meeting locations will rotate around Bay View, St. Francis, Cudahy area.
