Mystery Book Club

Hello. I am Sabrina Taylor, the facilitator of It's A Mystery Book Club and an adult services librarian at the Hope Mills Community Library of the Cumberland County Public Library system in North Carolina. Welcome to this book club that is both in-person and online and to BookClubs.

In your BookClubs account, click on the Meetings tab to see when we will be having our next book discussion. You will have the option to attend either our in-person meeting or our virtual meeting. The in-person meeting will be the third Tuesday of each month, and the virtual meeting will be the fourth Tuesday of each month. Both meetings will start at 5:30 pm (Eastern Standard Time in the United States). Note: I will move these dates up one week during the holiday months of November and December.

The in-person meeting will take place at the Hope Mills Community Library, which is located at 3411 Golfview Road, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348.

Once you log into your BookClubs account, click on the Club Messages tab to post any thoughts you may have about the book we are currently reading. I will post discussion questions closer to our first meeting date, which I will use to guide our discussion. Please note, however, that discussion does not have to be limited to just the discussion questions. You may discuss any aspect of the book that you wish just as long discussion remains polite and respectful. Profanity and other offensive and inappropriate language will not be tolerated.

If you need a copy of the book that we are currently reading and if you live in Cumberland County, North Carolina, there are copies available at the Hope Mills Community Library. You may also reserve a copy through our catalog and pick it up at the library location of your choice. You may also email me at staylor@cumberlandcountync.gov with your library card number, and I will send a copy of the book to the public library location of your choice within Cumberland County, North Carolina.

All Cumberland County Public Libraries currently have the below hours:

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday - 9 am to 7 pm

Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday - 9 am to 6 pm

Sunday - 2 pm to 6 pm (Headquarters, North Regional, Cliffdale, and Hope Mills)
