International Athens Book Club

We're an international club, welcome to any background, demographic or age!

The intention behind this book club is meaningful connections & conversations. I created this bookclub in the spirit of the power & love of literature, how it makes us reflect, travel to another world, and can change who we are. Whether you're a lover of classics, novels, biographies or crime, we read a diverse variety of books accessible to all. :)

To insure a varied and fair book selection, we rotate which member gets to recommend a selection of books each month, which we all vote on. The member offers between 2 to 3 books and all of us vote for our pick of the month. (Everyone is welcome to pick a theme for their monthly picks, such as Greek authors translated in English, Female African voices, biography, etc..)

Through this format, I hope to encourage diverse types of genres, books and discussions, to help us expand our reading list and create a community of like-minded individuals!
