Decatur Reading People

Decatur Reading People (DRP) is a group of folks who just want to casually talk about a wide variety of books. We want to recreate the Socratic seminar you might've had in your high school or college English class but without the grades and compulsory participation, of course.

You do not need live in Decatur to participate, but most meetups will likely happen somewhere in the North Decatur area.

The intent is to meet once a month on Thursday evenings. Meet up locations will vary but will typically be at a brewery or place where it's easy to gather a group without much fuss. 

The owner of this group is a big fan of speculative fiction, literary fiction, and non-fiction so expect books from those categories, particularly the first two, but is also open to suggestions as we go along.
