Welcome to Death by Lit, a virtual book club for readers who crave stories that haunt a little.

We meet online every month to talk about books that make you feel something real — gothic fiction, tragic romance, poetic horror, dark literary reads, or anything that leaves you staring at the ceiling after. It’s not about being the most “well-read,” it’s about connection — through characters, grief, obsession, and beauty.

If you decide to join, there’s a short form (linked in our bio) so we can get to know your reading style and make sure you fit our vibe. After that, you’ll get access to our discord chat, where all our group polls/meeting info is available as well as where we talk about current reads, share quotes, spiral over endings, and make friends who are just as emotionally unhinged over fiction.

This club is for people who want community without the pressure, who love books that hurt a little, heal a little, and stay with you long after you’re done reading.
