Cover to Cover

Hello everyone, book lovers of all ages come join us for fun and lively discussions, great word games and trivia. Come test your Witt's with us! 

We compete for prizes, usually gift cards. We are a club that meets either on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. We vote on what works best for all of us. 

Membership dues go toward prizes and is also a reserve fund for the club. Dues are on a tier based scale lowest starting at 5 dollars monthly.

Starting this June 2025: We now have a place to call our home, big thank you and shout out to Revive Arts and Craft Supply in Middletown, CT. We will be meeting here bi monthly. 

There is room for growth here in Cover to Cover. For those who want to become and volunteer to be event hosts, I welcome and encourage you to take the opportunity. 

Let's have deep and lively discussions about the books. Have fun, meet new friends and discover amazing stories.

To ensure everyone has an enjoyable and productive experience, here are some guidelines for our book club:

Respect Everyone’s Opinions – We all have different tastes in books. Discussions should be open, respectful, and judgment-free.

Read the Book (or Most of It!) – Life gets busy, but try your best to read the book before each meeting.

No Spoilers Until Discussion Time – If someone is still reading, wait until the designated time to discuss major plot points.

Be Punctual & Engaged – Meetings start on time. Arrive prepared to share thoughts and participate in the discussion.

Take Turns Choosing Books – Book selections rotate among members so everyone gets a say in what we read. we mostly vote between two books in polls.

Stay on Topic (Mostly) – It’s okay to go off on tangents, but try to keep discussions centered around the book.

Encourage Diverse Reads – Be open to exploring different genres, authors, and perspectives.

Bring Snacks (If Applicable) – If meetings are in-person, share the love with a snack or drink contribution.

Respect the Host’s Space – If meeting at someone’s home, be courteous and follow any house rules.

Have Fun! – This book club is about fostering friendships and a love for reading, so enjoy the process!
