Books without Borders

We read political, international relations, and CFR books and memoirs. We meet once a month and discuss! It’s a risk-free, no-pressure club so there’s no forced participation. There will be no intentional political slant and members are encouraged to reflect on their own biases and be open-minded to other views. We are encouraged to find opposing evidence to claims in the readings and to question our longest held and most deeply cherished beliefs. Reason, open-mindedness, skepticism, and empathy are the overarching desired characteristics of members.
