Blueberries

Hi! if you got this email its because you are interested in joining my bookclub. Thank you for showing your interest, I hope we can connect with each other as we read some cool books. My name is Makiya Garrett and I love feeding my brain, and not just with blueberries, but with books, word puzzles, and more. Growing up I absolutely hated reading, it was always hard for me, but at the end of this recent year I found myself exploring and wanting to try it again, I am so glad I did. Reading as become an outlet for me, it takes my mind off things, when reading I focus only on the book and nothing else. It has become a form of meditation for me, I am extremely thankful I have a healthy escape.

I first started with my blog called "Maks Big Brain" its my website for book reviews. Its nothing serious but i do find joy in keeping it up and active. I always knew I wanted to create a book club at some point, I was just waiting on the right time to, which is now!

I would like to get as many people as possible to join my group, I want to hear everyones thoughts, opinions and ideas. Getting feedback is extremely motivating and would help me understand what my audience wants to see while being apart of this club.

I am super pumped about this and I hope everyone is too, I am mainly reading psychological thrillers and horror books right now but I am open to whatever! Thank you guys for giving this a shot, i hope we can have some fun!
