Beerded Cork Book Club

The Beerded Cork Book Club meets on the first Wednesday each month at The Beerded Cork Taproom 2601 E Main St, Spartanburg, SC 29307.

We will be getting to know one another and everyone’s reading styles and genre preferences at the first meeting on Feb 4, 2026.

All members will submit a book they’d like the club to read, and we’ll be selecting at random until everyone has had a book chosen.

This is a great way to gather with fellow book lovers in our community, and branch out to other genres that you may not have read. 

About your host:

I am Lindsey Oliver Mayes & I own a mobile bookstore in Spartanburg. My “store” and I travel around and pop up at various markets, events & small businesses. I focus on stocking gently used books so that I can offer the best price to my customers, and do my part for Sustainability at the same time!

I will offer to provide books for the club at wholesale pricing, for those that want a physical book!

My favorite genre is Thriller/Suspense, but I have loved branching out to Fantasy, Horror, Romance & Non-Fiction since starting my business last year. I cannot wait to meet you all and hear what you’ve been reading!
