• What is Bookclubs Bookworm? Why did Bookclubs launch the Bookworm membership?

  Bookclubs Bookworm is a new membership that expands Bookclubs’ personal shelving tools so that we can be your complete reading hub.  Your Bookworm subscription supports an independent, women-owned business and allows us to continue to invest in offering and developing more tools and services for readers and book clubs.  

• What new features will I get if I become a Bookclubs Bookworm?

  Bookclubs Bookworm currently offers a range of features, from VIP status on community reviews to emails of personalized reading recommendations to goal setting and annual reading summaries. We’re also working on a lot of exciting new features like pop-up book club meetings for trending titles, book club matchmaking, and customizable and sharable profiles.  Have an idea for a feature you’d like to see in Bookclubs Bookworm?  Shoot us a note at help@bookclubs.com.

• How much does a Bookclubs Bookworm membership cost? Are there any discounts or promotions?

  Bookclub Bookworm memberships come at three different price points, each offering additional features and tools.  There are monthly and annual payment options, with a significant discount for annual plans. There are no discounts or promotions at this time (except that a free Pulitzer membership is included if you subscribe your club to any Bookclubber plan!)

• Are any free Bookclubs features going away?

  Bookclubs Bookworm introduces new features on top of today’s free features. For new users who join Bookclubs after June 25, 2025, reading goals and the end of year Bookend will be paid features as part of Bookclubs Bookworm. If you joined Bookclubs before June 25, reading goals and Bookends will continue to be free this year.

• What is the difference between the Bookclubber and Bookworm subscriptions?

  Our Bookclubber subscriptions offer features to help organize your book club like advanced polls, calendar syncing, multiple admins and more.  Bookclubber subscriptions are offered on a per club basis.  Our Bookworm subscriptions support you in discovering, tracking, sharing, and celebrating reading with advanced shelving features and more.

• I already pay for a Bookclubber subscription for my club. Do I also need to get a Bookworm subscription for myself?

  If you have upgraded a book club with a Bookclubber club subscription at any level (Premium, Pro or Pro Plus), you have automatically also been given a Bookworm Pulitzer membership as a thank you for upgrading your club!  If other members of your club want to access Bookworm features, they will need to individually join Bookclubs Bookworm.

• How do I change my Bookworm subscription (switch tier or switch billing cycle)? How do I cancel my Bookworm subscription?

  Using a web browser, visit your Profile Settings and scroll down to the section labeled “Bookclubs Bookworm Membership.”  From there you will see options to manage/upgrade your subscription or to cancel it. 

• How do I update my credit card on file?

  Go to https://bookclubs.com/profile/settings.  Scroll down to "Payment information." Click on the pencil icon to change your credit card on file.  Click on the trash can icon to remove your saved credit card info.
