Did you find Osric's high self regard endearing or off-putting? What about Aurienne's sense of superiority? Are their high opinions of themselves justified?

This romance is a very slow burn, with most of the spice coming at the end and limited to the characters' imaginations. Did you buy into Aurienne and Osric's growing attraction?

If you were Aurienne, do you think you could get over Osric's evil-doings? Do the ends of his villainy by the end of the book (helping and protecting her) outweigh the means?
