How does the novel use and subvert familiar Arthurian tropes, in particular in its centering of a female knight?
Compare this book to other "time loop" stories (books or movies) you've consumed. How do they compare in scope? In their depiction of the mechanics?
Who was your favorite character? What did you think of the secondary characters? Was there anyone you'd have liked to see more of?
Discuss the romance between Owen and Una (so. much. yearning). Did you believe in their connection?
The pacing of the novel changes significantly between the first and second half of the novel as it switches from covering the same short loop to covering different periods of history. Did the transition work for you? Did you prefer the first or second half?
Despite addressing heavy themes and a lot of trauma, there are many comedic moments in this book. What were some of your favorite ones?
What do you think the author is trying to say about hero worship and mythmaking?
