A beautiful, and achingly painful story of grief and moving through it. Ultimately, hopeful and tender, but I don’t know what I was expecting when I first heard of this title. What the author delivered, though, was worth the journey.

This book has me lost for words. I knew this book would break my heart and sit definitely delivered those blows. This was such a sweet, sentimental story buuuuuut I really just didn't like the main character, Julie. She annoyed me in a way I just couldn't entirely place my finger on it. Everyone grieves differently but even during flashback I found her a bit selfish. Sam also seemed entirely too perfect. I still loved this little story and I can't wait to see what happens in the next ones.

I had been really excited to read this book with all the hype it had received. I was hoping for something to make me feel similar to how I felt with "I Want to Eat Your Pancreas" by Yoru Sumino.
While it pulled at my heartstrings and had me shedding some tears, some of that emotional connection was overshadowed by grammatical errors that should have easily been caught in the editing process.
If you are a person who can read beyond errors then you may love this book but for me there were just too many causing distractions; especially in a finished copy.
When I am reviewing an ARC I already have in my mind that I may come across some errors that will be fixed before final approval of publication but with a finished copy I am not expecting so many blatant errors, if that makes sense.
Overall I thought the storyline was interesting and was intrigued by the paranormal aspect of it, but found the writing to be a bit underdeveloped.

If you are in a relationship, or have a heart… then you NEED to read this. I screamed, I cried, I smiled, and I laughed. All because of this one book. It exceeded my expectations and made me feel Julie’s thoughts and emotions almost like I was in the book myself.
I’m not okay after reading this 😭😭 But I really liked it !!
