You Could Do Damage

A dangerous dance of passion and power unfolds when two wounded souls collide in this sizzling unconventional romance by USA Today bestselling author K.C. Mills.

Nari Collette finds herself on the brink of homelessness after a crushing betrayal. Desperate for stability, she reluctantly agrees to an unconventional proposal from the attractive and enigmatic Kincaid Akel.

Determined to reclaim his seat as heir of a dangerous criminal enterprise, Kincaid needs a wife to solidify his position, but he never expected his carefully selected bride to ignite such fierce desire. As Nari awakens feelings he long thought dead, Kincaid struggles to maintain control.

Their entangled marriage of convenience quickly becomes a battleground of wills as Nari fights to protect her heart, even as she's irresistibly drawn to her dangerous new husband.

As enemies close in from all sides, and with both their hearts and lives on the line, Nari and Kincaid must decide if they can trust each other with their deepest secrets . . . or if the very passion that binds them will ultimately be their downfall.

Laawwwdddd.. if Nari don’t get out of her own way, she gonna be the destruction of everything around her 🤦🏽‍♀️ I enjoyed this read but Nari get on my nerves.. however Kincaid should have been more forthcoming about his world, so Nari could truly understand his moves and motives.. they met when Nari was waitressing at an exclusive club and some obnoxious customer got inappropriate with her.. he watched from afar and then interrupted the interaction and that’s when he became obsessed with her.. he was already engaged to Alia in an arranged marriage to both family wealth and power.. however when he found out that her dad was corrupt and lying he found a loophole in the contract agreement they had and made a business proposition to marry Nari instead.. after feeling a connection with him and not really having family and knowing who her family was, she agreed.. they ended up really feeling each other, however his “other world” didn’t always make sense to her, so she found herself in compromising situations.. as she learned she was becoming a mother, she was building a slow relationship with her long lost mother, whom had given her up at birth, but Kincaid had found for her.. a women from Kincaid’s past planted doubt in Nari regarding their relationship and marriage and caused her to make irrational choices.. then she learned her biological father is her husband’s nemesis.. and then ends on a cliffhanger.. can’t wait to see what happens in Book2
