This was a fun read! I haven’t read a ton of paranormal shifter romances and I’m glad this was one of my first. I loved how June is 92 and fabulously strong. It was refreshing to have a mature main character and seeing her be so fierce was even better. Your life doesn’t end just because you age and it was nice to see that. I absolutely adored the love we are shown from June & George, especially with the flashbacks. This is a quick read and although I loved devouring it, I wish I had more! I’m amazed with how much could be packed in but I could’ve absolutely had a lot more of June. Also, holy cliff hanger! I’m hoping there’s more of the Chambrays to come soon!
