An interesting, feminist insight into how the modern nurse has evolved. More of a pamphlet than a book. However, did get me interested in reading more on the subject of women as healers, and the notion that the modern nurses are still oppressed women being forced to undertake menial, mothering, nurturing tasks in an obedient way.
