I was not expecting to love this book as much as I did. The second book fell a bit short for me, but this one was just as good as the first. It didn’t feel like an appropriate completion to a series, however, with a side character becoming a main character. The storyline also felt different and with the epilogue (are you kidding me?!

I really struggled with the beginning of this book. Blythe has been the highlight of this series so I was very excited for it to be all about her but I had a hard time getting into it, and the relationship with Signa felt off.

A little past a third of the book, I finally got into it and was obsessed with the writing, the poetry, and the romance. I am feeling a little unsure about the ending….I feel like it’s set up for another book and I want more. I think it was the best book in the series so far but still has a lot of holes.

This was my favorite in the trilogy! I think the pacing was perfect and I had a difficult time putting this one down. I really loved how book 1 was Signa / Death, book 2 was split POV Signa / Blythe, and book 3 was Blythe / Aris. It was a great way to move the story forward. The loose ends were tied up nicely and overall, loved how different this trilogy was. Excited for whatever Adalyn Grace writes next!

I enjoyed it! Parts felt a bit too rushed or added for dramatic effect but overall it was still a fun read
