Britannee and Jeni have done it again! First we had the Momcoms, and now the Dadcoms have arrived. In this first book of the new series, we can already see some similarities. Again, they are all living in a run down, falling apart building, but this time as part of fulfilling some crazy requirement of their late father’s will in order to inherit the family law firm.
To add to the mix, Cal discovers he has a 5 year old child and Lola is there to help him learn to be a good father. Cal is your typical goofy, golden retriever MMC who has had a crush on Lola, their paralegal, for years. We get to watch their romance bloom along side zany side characters, such as Madame Esmerelda, the psychic, and Sebastian, the ghost. It is also so much fun to see characters from their other series mingling with those of the new series. Such a fun treat for their long-time readers.
