Great continuation from Book 1. I enjoyed Book 2. It picks up and continues a great story.

Ugh, this one just didn’t live up to the first book. Inez often came across as a petulant, impulsive young girl rather than a compelling lead. And the cats in the epilogue — who had absolutely nothing to do with the story — made the ending feel silly and out of place. Book #103 in 2025 ⭐️⭐️
