One of the best books I've ever read! The movie doesn't do it justice. So glad I read the book first!
Hard to believe I read this book almost 30 years ago. Now, as then, tears were flowing as I completed this splendid novel. Call me a Wal-Mart child, call me sappy, I readily admit these truths and love this heartwarming story. So happy I reread this treasure.
