Where She Went

The highly anticipated sequel to the New York Times bestselling and critically acclaimed If I Stay
Picking up several years after the dramatic conclusion of If I Stay, Where She Went continues the story of Adam and Mia, from Adam's point of view. Ever since Mia's decision to stay - but not with him - Adam's career has been on a wonderful trajectory. His album, borne from the anguish and pain of their breakup, has made him a bona fide star. And Mia herself has become a top-rate cellist, playing in some of the finest venues in the world. When their respective paths put them both in New York City at the same time, the result is a single night in which the two reunite - with wholly satisfying results.
And don't miss Gayle's newest novel, JUST ONE DAY and the forthcoming companion, JUST ONE YEAR.

Flashbacks
Like the first book, this one utilized a lot of flashbacks. They acted as memories that were triggered by current events. Yet, it didnâÂÂt work as well in this book as it did in the first one. I found myself annoyed by the flashbacks since so many of them seemed irrelevant. Though, maybe this was because I wanted to know more about Mia and less about Adam, which wasnâÂÂt gonna happen since the sequel is told from AdamâÂÂs POV.
Pacing
IâÂÂm not sure if this supposed to be one of those fast reads because it is such a small book, but it sure did take me a while. Maybe it had to do with the constant flashbacks. Or maybe it was because I just didnâÂÂt feel the emotion that was supposed to be there, but this book took me some time to finish. And I constantly found myself putting it down and looking for other things to do.
Whiny, Emo Kids aka âÂÂAdamâÂÂ
Did I not mention already how disappointed I was that Adam was the narrator in this book? Not enough? Good, because I was very disappointed. I felt nothing for Adam in this sequel. I didnâÂÂt care where he came from or where he was going or what he wanted. All I read about was a whiny little emo kid with too much of everything. LikeâÂÂŚ get over it. Make something of yourself. ItâÂÂs not that hard. I have no sympathy for you. -.-
The ending. The ending! The ENDING! I was soooo freakinâ happy about the ending because of how they got back together. However, I was also a little upset about how it happenedâÂÂŚ HmâÂÂŚ Part of it felt like it wasâÂÂŚ forced, perhaps? I mean, I loved it, but it feltâÂÂŚ wrong. I canâÂÂt explain it much better than that. So, I hope you can understand if youâÂÂve read the book.

This is the follow up book of âif i stayâ, story is very straight forward , you can even guess The scenes !!!!! not really recommend this .
This was a worthy sequel. Reading from Adamâs point of view this time around was a great take! Here we got to feel his internal struggles and heartache after the aftermath of the accident. itâs cheesy, but Iâm so happy he and Mia got back together in the end
