An interesting historical fiction novel based during the World Fair in 1939. The Fair provides some interesting happenings and exciting events around the stories being told lending the story an intrigue factor. Our two female leads face struggles of the times for women in the workplace and in life. Where the characters and plot are moderately interesting the writing style is a bit simplistic and the climax is rolled out in a rush but it's worth waiting for. Not a bad read but not something to be overly excited about either.
