SUMMARY OF "UNDERSTAND THE PURPOSE AND POWER OF WOMAN". By Myles Munroe.
In this day so sumptuous which profiles so young and beautiful very illuminated, below this graceful sky with this azure blue color there exists this society where women were the object of the most sickening subjects in history so as not to say fetid around the 70s by men.
Who say women do not have their place in society, in this society intended only for men.
Dr. Myles refers to this title from James Brown's "Man's World" to paint the way in which women were subjected to all kinds of flawed treatment by men at home and in business... They all say a woman's place is the house precisely in the kitchen, the woman is an object intended for the needs of men, sex, carrying children available for domestic tasks and others at home. Many women in the 70s to the 80s suffered a lot, they did not have the opportunity to live normally or to know the meaning of the word flourishing freely, this creature so exquisite that God the creator took his time to bring it to life. This earth was undergoing all kinds of weakening before everyone's eyes.
What is a woman and how to become a woman?
A woman is a human being of the female sex or gender. Before adulthood, at the infantile stage, we speak of a girl. However, it happens that the word is used regardless of age.
The true woman is aware of her influence on men and on the world. She does nothing that could one day have serious consequences on her offspring. She knows how to make good decisions and define her priorities. She is thoughtful!
What are the values of a woman?
Empathy, attention to others, cooperation and solidarity, these values described as “feminine” would be powerful vectors of change, in the face of an exclusively masculine world where competition, aggressiveness and violence have long reigned.
What is woman in society ?
In two key principles : women are partners in economic production and social reproduction, at both levels of the family and society. The woman is a structural element of an entire society, a pole of a bipolar totality between man and woman.
*Woman in the Bible*
Who is a woman according to the Bible ?
The woman is the collaborator of the Lord.
In reading the Word of God and contemplating God’s loving plan for women as Jesus revealed it, we discover that woman is created like man in the image of God. She can dominate, like man, the ministry of God and is called like man to follow Christ and to the service of the Kingdom. (Genesis 1 :26).
Let’s talk about the importance of women next to men on earth, and their potentialities and roles to cite a few essential points :
The woman is the collaborator of the Lord:
God Created Everything with a Purpose Let us now consider the nature of purpose itself. Purpose is the original intention of the creator in the creation of something. It is what is in the creator's mind that causes him to fashion his product in a certain manner. In short, purpose motivates the action of creation. This results in precision production.
The purpose of something determines it's nature, design, and features.
- The woman plays the productive role, a reproductive role and a role at a community level. The role of the woman will be to help and support her husband. She must help her man in the sense that she must assume her role as minister of help to him. Indeed, she must recognize that her man cannot properly exercise his role as head of the family without her help.
When a person does not understand something they tend to sell it or mistreat it, which is why it is important to always consider seeking out those who are making something (or why?).
One of the important things that we often forget is that we cannot run away from God's will for our lives. In other words we cannot succeed without God's participation in our life plans, why this sentence? God is the creator he is the source of all existence of things in the heavens and on the earth including us humans. As Dr Myles says "When humanity rejected God, He gave them what they wanted. He gave them over to their passions (Romans 1:24, 26). That's not as simple as it might sound. If God had just given us over to what we wanted, the implication might have been that we can succeed in spite of Him. But when God gave us over, He also allowed us to experience the inevitable results of our actions. carry on." He said, "If you carry on, you're going to end up depraved, because that isn't the way I made you".
Dr Myles "where purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable"... If you don't know the purpose of a thing, all you will do is abuse it, no matter how sincere, committed, serious, or innocent you are.
How to understand equality between women and men ?
Is this the right question ? No, because there is no comparison between a man and a woman but differences in formation and spots. In Hebrew thought, man and woman are constitutionally the same bones and the same flesh. There can never be any question of a loss of unity between them. This is the origin and the arrival. (Proverbs 31).
A Perfect Complement The female-man is the perfect complement to the male-man. She is man because she came from man and has a spirit. Her physical house is also like the male’s. She is bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh. She is the same as a man, and that is why she can give and receive love and be in relationship with him.
Different by Design Males and females were created both similarly and differently in order to fulfill God’s purposes. Remember the two main principles of purpose ? •The purpose of something determines its nature (or design). •The nature of something determines its needs. Men and women were created with complementary designs that reflect their individual roles in the larger purposes for which they were created. In the next chapter we’ll look at the implications of their complementary roles and discover what put their perfect symmetry out of balance.
What does the Bible really teach about women?
Well written and supported by scripture and the life of Jesus, this book promotes the idea that men and women are equal before God, both made in his image and should both be allowed to serve in church and family leadership.
The Hebrew Bible often portrays women as victors, leaders, and heroines with qualities Israel should emulate. Women such as Hagar, Tamar, Miriam, Rahab, Deborah, Esther, and Yael/Jael, are among many female "saviors" of Israel.
Jesus identified women as disciples in other places. In Matthew 12:49, the text reads, “And pointing to his disciples, he said, 'Here are my mother and my brothers! For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother. '”
Proverbs 14:1: “The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.” Proverbs 19:14: “Houses and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the Lord.” Psalm 28:7: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me.
- Women are highly valued by God and are to receive this same value from men. Due Distinction – The biblical accounts of the great men of the Old Testament consistently give distinction to their wives. Sarah, Rebekah and Rachel are only a few examples of women who play prominent roles in Scripture.
- She is trustworthy.
The heart of her husband safely trusts in her ; so he will have no lack of gain. She does him good and not evil all the days of her life” (Proverbs 31 :11–12).
- In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church. « The female was made primarily to be loved by the male. So the female was made primarily to be loved by the male. When Paul said, « Husbands, love your wives, » he was saying, in effect, « Husband, above all Else, love your wife. Don’t worry about other things before that, because you can take care of those things in due course. If you love her, you will take care of many other problems and potential problems in your marriage. When you give her the love she needs, she will function properly, because she was born to be loved. » A woman will reflect the love or lack of love that she receives. When she is loved, she is better able to live a life of joy and peace, even in the midst of difficult circumstances, it is as if there is a weight on her heart. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them” (Colossians 3 :19).
● The Woman Is an “Incubator” by Nature
● Whatever you give a woman, she’s going to multiply.
● •She weights words, actions, and relationships between things.
•She processes words, ideas, needs, and problems.
•She designs and invents. •She develops ideas, plans, and programs.
•She protects what she has received while it develops.
•She produces something new from what she receives. •She multiplies what she is given.
“Who can find a virtuous wife ? Because its value is far above rubies. Her husband’s heart trusts her securely ; so he will not lack profit. She does him good and not harm every day of his life.
As a wife, a Proverbs 31 woman lives in such a way that her husband trusts her. He does not fear that she will leave him because she expresses his love and loyalty. She serves him selflessly, without reserving any of her love or affection. She wouldn’t do anything that would hurt him. As we will see later, the woman in Proverbs 31 makes the home a refuge and a place of growth. Every day of his life !
