I’ve enjoyed this whole series. This is my favorite so far. The writing is profound and funny and relatable and moves along well. This story focuses on our tortured ex-couple, Ellowyn and Zander, their attempts at getting along, and the Joywood being their usual slimy selves. I really love both sides of this couple and some of the side characters that get introduced. This series is about family (both biological and the found kind), loving and being there for each other, and the challenges in doing the right thing. Beck gives us a great payoff for several threads that have been developing over the course of the series. Plus, she introduces a new storyline that will likely be fleshed out in the next book. (I can’t wait!)
