Really interesting concept, but the tone of the book overall is quite dry in how it presents the narrative. I would say this is a good parallel to the dense, overactive setting of the world it's presenting, but it did often come off feeling less contrasting and more, bland, shall we say? Still enjoyed this and want to give the author's other works a shot.
It also gives the feel that you as the reader are almost like a security camera, in that you are catching glimpses of multiple similtaneous lives occuring in the same space, but only from that specific moment and angle.
