Tokyo Ueno Station

This was a challenging and dark read. It makes you think what are the sacrifices behind each great monument. Who are the people that constructed great buildings like Olympic fields and stadiums? What does a legacy mean without reflecting on the behind the scenes efforts? The unnamed protagonist is a ghost roaming through the station where he once worked, reflecting on helping build the structures for the Olympics, also reflecting on his personal family and his role as a father. Everything about his life is devastatingly sad and he attempts to find some sort of solace in his afterlife.
