I was in the mood from some short stories and I thought about checking this one out. This was a lot more than I was expecting. It's a collection of short stories that are macabre. The stories explore violence, loss, and societal decay in Argentina. These were extremely dark and unsettling for sure. Each story jumps into poverty, drug addiction, murder or other traumas in general. This author uses quite an imagery that's violet and shows how complex the human experiences are in social or political turmoil.

Very much liked this. I loved the morbid and weird stories. This is what I want when I'm looking for spoopy stories.

Creepy and fun!

Dark. Unique. These short stories are very creative and convey a reality that I would not wish on anyone.

A generally excellent collection of dark, macabre stories deeply rooted in the dilapidation of post-dictatorship Argentina and it is, at least in part, this setting that makes these stories satisfying.
