I think this was one I was afraid to read due to the title. My mother and father passed recently and I miss them terribly. I still think of things and say to myself, “Oh, I need to tell mom” and then I realize what I have just thought. I found the book interesting, sometimes irritating, sometimes endearing and sometimes just a good read. I will say the ending was a let down and maybe it is the optimist in me that took this book from a 9 or 10 to an 8 but that is what did it. I can’t get passed the ending letting me down. I would still recommend the book but maybe not if you have had a recent loss of a mom. Might be too soon. It was for me.
