Thank God I came across this story. Gossip girl prep goodness galore. Whit Lancaster is a dream and there’s no way he actually isn’t real like how depressing. Summer and Whit’s relationship was everything and i can’t wait for more in the Lancaster world!!!!

I can't stand this book for another second.
Summer is the daughter of the woman who had an affair with Whit's father. So technically it is a "forbidden" romance because both families are supposed to hate one another.
But Summer can't stop lusting after Whit even after he goes to the extent of humiliating her, even when she raised her hand to slap him he managed to use sex as a distraction to soothe the situation and where is her backbone?
I can literally name 10 examples and more of Summer accepting Whit's nonsense and it will be never ending because half the book later Summer hasn't moved on from why she can't resist Whit. Actually it's not just Summer, Whit too knows he shouldn't be with her yet he goes to all extent to seek her out.
I could have tolerated it if it was just for 20% of the book but the tango never stopped.
Kinda disappointing because I've heard a lot of good reviews about this book.
