“In Britney Spears’s memoir, she’s stronger than ever.” —The New York Times

Over 2 million copies sold of the “moving” (Time), “powerful” (Los Angeles Times), “radiant” (The New York Times), “poignant” (Vogue) #1 New York Times bestseller. The Woman in Me is a brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope.

In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court. The impact of sharing her voice—her truth—was undeniable, and it changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others. The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey—and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history.

Written with remarkable candor and humor, Spears’s groundbreaking book illuminates the enduring power of music and love—and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms, at last.

This was a very sad memoir but I am glad we all came together and helped her fight for her freedom and to hear her POV for it all was told very well.

3.25⭐️ While I enjoyed getting to know a deeper side of Britney's journey, the writing wasn't anything special. It was clunky at times and sort of hard to keep up with. I know she was telling her story in her own way, and I appreciate that, but the writing felt more like reading a diary than a memoir.

Semi interesting, not as scandalous or riveting as I hoped! Can read in a day easily.

Britney Spears give her honest truth to her side of her story in this memoir, which is all anyone can hope for when reading such exposing moments played in the public eye. Obviously, there is more we would want to hear about but I like that she draws a line and keeps somethings for herself as a boundary and growth to claim herself. I hope writing this memoir was empowering and healing to her, a chance she never seemed to be given before. As you read this, you really hate the lack of support and love she received and respect how much strong Britney is to survive through it.
