There was so much I enjoyed about this book! This story is packed with multiple tropes that I absolutely LOVE and Shiloh Walker was able to mash them together, blending them into a fantastic romance.
We have a one-night stand that leads to unintentional consequences (secret baby!!!), a damaged military hero, amnesia, a best friend's younger sister and there's a slight friends-to-lovers thread--though it's more like "pen pals-to lovers"...so I'm not really sure if that counts. It sounds like a lot to put together in any book, but Ms. Walker weaved it all together in an emotional tale that I couldn't put down, and while I was more than satisfied with the ending of the story, all I could think of was that I can't wait to read more of her straight contemporary books!
