This is a really charming and feel good story. I loved the small town mixed with magic, making it the perfect read for October. I enjoyed the romantic aspects eventhough that wasn’t the main focus of the story it made for more depth in Sadie’s character and had some really cute moments. I don’t know if there will be a sequel but I would love to know what happens next in Poppy Meadows!
I absolutely loved it. When it comes to magic and love genre, this is by far one of my favorites. Perfect for fans of books/movies like Practical Magic.
It was okay. It's touted as Gilmore Girls meets Practical Magic... I felt the Practical Magic vibes, not so much Gilmore Girls which sucks cause thats my all time favorite show. The premise was unique. There some punctuation and other small errors that I know aren't big in the grand scheme of things but they do take me out of the story. Overall I'd say it was good but I don't know if I'd read it again.
What a fun book! I didn’t expect much due to other reviews, but I’m glad I paid them no mind. The magical details and recipes brought so much life. “River water is for moving on and sea water is for healing. Storm water is for strengthening, or if you’re feeling ambitious, cures. Water that falls as lightning strikes will cause disaster sure as a cracked mirror or walking under a ladder.” Book #24 in 2024
Fun! Was like if you mixed Practical Magic, The Good Witch, Casita from Encanto and a cookbook together.
