I absolutely loved the premise and the first book, but the FMC really got on my nerves in this one. And don’t even get me started on the use of "rattle" and "Sami"—just no. I had to train my brain to ignore them while reading. Sami as a nickname? Way too cringe. I enjoyed the story, but I’m seriously struggling to pick up the next book.
I think I found my first book girlfriend. Hear me out! I love a red flag 🚩. Dianna is giving broken, toxic, wounded energy and she has a thousand years worth of truma. I love that she is tearing the world to peices with no remorse. I think it is even better that Samkiel embraces her. Yes I am giving this book 5 stars, it was a hell of a good time and it is refreshing to see a women that threaten to burn the world, make good on her promise.
I didn't not find the book confusing, if you pay attention it is easy to follow. Cameron and Xavier... I am rooting them.
I love the diverse cast, this is easily becoming my favorite series!
Slow start but it kept me on the edge of when something was going to happen. Once it hit about half way I couldn’t stop reading. I laughed and cried with the characters.
