The Thing About Home is a beautifully crafted story! I personally find it unbearable to read books where there is an overuse of descriptive words - which is why I considered not finishing the book early on, but I couldn’t put it down. The plot was so good it overshadowed my preference in writing style.
Rhonda McKnight provided many gems of wisdom and prompted me to think about my own ancestors and legacy, all while still enjoying following Casey’s journey. The book was executed so well- from the family tree in the beginning to the epilogue.
This book felt homey. I wish there was more, but I'm just being greedy. I don't have any unanswered questions or anything. I'll def check out more from this author.
A beautiful story!
Loved it! Showing the importance of knowing your family legacy.
It was a good read, but the author kept the stakes safe and mild. There were no surprises in this book.
