An eye opening, exhaustively researched and verified, review of history from a unique perspective. Hard to read at times but she offers workable solutions to make us all have better lives and opportunities to practice what we preach.

An important story told with vision, compassion, and context. A book we should all be reading and discussing to help us understand how our American Obsession with independence has warped a our understanding of autonomy—to be connected in a meaningful way and be a healthy individual.
