Wow! Just Wow! I love this world so much. It is simple but complex. Samantha Shannon has done an amazing job in world building and her characters are tough as nails. Paige Mahoney doesn't disappoint in her leadership of the Mime Order. We see her struggle to make the right decisions for the Mime Order but every move she makes brings them closer to destroying Senshield and taking steps toward freedom. We get to see more of the world and more of key character backgrounds in The Song Rising which I love. It makes the characters that much more real. I can't wait to see what the rest of the series brings us!
