Another fun adventure with the trio and an unlikely foe turned ally. This one is mostly Percy and Annabeth looking for Grover and the magical fleece to save the camp. Percy finds a family member who helps them along the way. This one is just as enjoyable as the other books in the series and reminds me of my younger days.
what else can i sayyy
This book starts where the first one left off, with all of them returning home to finish schooling for the year. In this one, we followed Percy, Annabeth, Clarisse, and Tyson as they all played a part in saving Grover from a Cyclops who was determined to kill him to hinder his journey of finding Pan.
Tyson being who he is and the half-brother of Percy is simply adorable to witness, he is not as intelligent but is very useful in other ways, bronze making, and he is very emotional, which makes me appreciate him even more, the way he treats Percy and the people around him.
In this one, we also see Percy go through the motions of accepting Tyson for what he is and how he can move forward with his father for this hidden truth.

not as good as the first
It has been quite some time since I read this series. I was 11 - almost 12 - and I am now 25. Despite the passage of time, this series has stuck with me through every era of my life. The characters were memorable, the stories and challenges fascinating. Even the most minor character was beloved. I look forward to possibly re-reading this one day.
